tranquil vegetarian retreat
beautiful setting clean atmosphere friendly service
the hotel is in a beautiful setting with walks right from the doorstep. the guest house had a cute atmosphere and was very clean. breakfast was delicious, with super friendly service (i especially liked the homemade bread!).

nice log fire amazing breakfast accommodating staff
I found a really nice log fire burning on a cold day. The breakfast was amazing. I liked the variety of food available. The staff were very warm and accommodating.

The location is a good starting point for hikes. I noticed the hotel is also near many walking spots. The hotel provides free parking and has an electric car charging station available. You can find many beautiful hikes nearby, within the Lake District area.

Staff were attentive and helpful. They seemed to offer excellent service. The owners were very friendly. I had access to free parking, a really great benefit. The team also provided a delicious breakfast.

My room included a bath with doors to a balcony, I was very glad about it. The room was big and clean. It was quite lovely. I also had a comfortable bed and a garden view.

a peaceful vegetarian retreat
beautiful grounds scrambled tofu homemade flapjack plant-based milks
I enjoyed strolling through the beautiful grounds. breakfast was amazing!!! i especially loved the scrambled tofu. It was the best i have ever had. our room was clean. It had coffee, tea, and plant-based milks available, as well as a lovely homemade vegan flapjack.
the walk to nearby places in the evening requires a car.
