Underwhelming stay
poor communication dirty bathroom
The gardens looked nice with pepper and cardamon growing everywhere.
Communication skills need improvement. I tried to book a massage before arrival but no one responded, so no massage for me. The cottage was old and the bathroom? Think damp and mold. Snails also checked in the bathroom and I was not happy about it.

the staff was helpful. i initially worried about only buffet meals and no a la carte options for dinner but i did not need to worry. the food was fresh, hot, and delicious..
the hot water shower eventually ran out of hot water.

excellent resort experience
controlled pool delicious food
my villa had a temperature controlled pool and i really enjoyed it. i mostly stayed there except for breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. i had room service by my pool for dinner nightly and the food was very good. i even saw more wildlife in the resort grounds than on the periyar lake trip.
i felt communication was a little slow. i had tried to book a massage and activities via email beforehand, but i didn't get a response or have anything arranged when i arrived. the resort should ensure prompt responses and confirmations for bookings.

the villa included comfortable king bed and provided quiet sleep. the bathroom featured a rainfall shower and provided complimentary toiletries. the room included a minibar stocked with drinks and snacks.

the resort is located in a natural jungle setting with palm and spice plants. the hotel features beautiful trees giving the feeling you are staying in a forest. it's about 4 km from the city center adding to the peaceful charm.

the breakfast buffet had many traditional dishes and fresh juices. omelets and dosa were made to order with quick service. the restaurant provides options for indian and continental cuisine.
