i really liked how close it was to the village, made walk easy. that shower was amazing! bathroom was really nice too, very modern. they have usb charging, such a good idea.

the room was small, there was nowhere to hang my clothes or put my suitcase. i had to keep it on the bed, which wasn't ideal.

My room had a walk-in shower, a desk, and a TV with streaming channels. The staff were very polite and attentive. This. Breakfast was simple and very good, it was buffet style with sausage, bacon, and scrambled eggs. They even offered fried or poached eggs (wow!).

The exterior grounds need some work. I found the absence of a top sheet under the comforter unsettling. The comforters are used by many guests (i didn't like that!).

Convenient Stay with a Helpful Host

I had some car trouble. Alasdair kindly let us stay in the dining room after check-out. He allowed us to fix our car issues and get a taxi to Inverness. IT was a relief!

The exterior grounds NEEDED some attention. I noticed broken glass on the garage door. Some rubbish was present in the gardens.

The host offered helpful advice. I found his knowledge about the area Excellent because he had worked as a tour guide. I was able to plan my trip with his suggestions.

the room was spacious and it had a wonderful shower i enjoyed it a lot! parking was good and i walked only five minutes to the shops and the lock. the host knew the area well and was helpful. breakfast was so good!

the room needed a wardrobe or more storage space, just some hangers on hooks were there.
