My room included its own bathroom and a double bed. It also had the usual tea and coffee supplies. breakfast was very generous and perfectly cooked for me. the owners were really friendly and accommodated requests. i was happy!

The in-room safe was non-functional . I found it unusable. the television remote lacked batteries, requiring a trip to reception. furthermore, the promised toiletries were incomplete. The shampoo was missing.

The location was pretty good. It was a manageable walk to the town center.
The room felt a bit neglected. Paint was peeling in corners. I also found the bed quite hard. It impacted my sleep.

The room had a good size and high ceilings so it felt larger. Pubs are nearby as are takeaways and shops. The host provided a helpful and friendly service. I received beach towels when I mentioned a sea swim and this was a nice extra.
The hotel bar situated in the lounge was not in operation. There is another bar just opposite the hotel. I noticed that the patched up room had wall repairs with paint in a different colour. The bed was slightly uncomfortable.

The room was spacious and very clean! I was able to check in earlier since the room was ready. Lots of information about nearby attractions was available. Steph gave me a map of the area.
The hotel bar wasn't open. It would have been nice to grab a drink there!
