excellent facilities, minor issues

the breakfast buffet was really good with many choices. the pools were clean, and there were enough loungers available. the gardens provided shaded areas with comfortable day beds. i found the family room very spacious with a comfortable bed.
The air conditioning seemed to be on a winter setting . My room was quite hot. this made it uncomfortable at times. Opening the door helped, but the noise from outside bothered me.

The hotel offers both a main pool area and a rooftop pool, though the rooftop pool is open from 11am to 8pm. gardens surround the hotel and are accessible. The main pool area includes numerous loungers . access to facilities at a nearby sister hotel is provided.

i appreciated the helpful reception staff, especially sara. she gave us good information on local places. the rooms were clean and well-equipped with a kitchenette that included an oven and a fridge (this was a nice surprise). the rooftop pool was quiet and a relaxing spot to spend the day.
i found the half-board option inflexible. i was unable to switch my evening meal to lunchtime. this limited my dining options and exploration of nearby restaurants (i wanted to explore more of the local cuisine).

The air conditioning was not effective . The room remained excessively hot. i was informed the system was set to winter mode and could not be adjusted. opening the door was the only suggestion but this led to noise from barking dogs and mosquito bites. This disrupted sleep. it took three days to rectify the air conditioning issue. The initial response was disappointing.

The food at the restaurant disappointed me it was often cold. I also found the variety to be limited. I thought a five-star hotel would offer more. The lack of daily water bottles in the room felt strange given the hotel's rating. I had to go to the bar each time I wanted water.
