Charming Historical Stay

Our stay spanned three nights. It proved to be wonderful. We received beer and chocolate upon arrival. Each day, firewood and kindling were replenished, a sweet treat included. The bed felt massive and comfy. The bathroom offered warm temperatures and unmatched water pressure.
The room was a bit dark. This was due to only one window. I hope to find more light during a future visit.

the BREAKFAST was delicious. I had direct access to the outside patio, lovely. The bed and pillows were comfortable and I slept well.
I got the room in the basement. It was useless in December. The room is DARK with only one window leading to the terrace.

the location was acceptable as it was near points of interest.
The room i got was quite dark, with only a single window and limited natural light. the breakfast was not good (i think the kitchen staff might have changed) and didn't meet my expectations. the bed was soft. I had to remove the topper to get some sleep.

dark roomsad breakfast
the room i received in the basement felt a bit grim, even though it had a terrace. i guess a terrace is useless when it is cold. also , the room felt dark due to just one window. the breakfast was pretty sad , far from the amazing feast others described.
