The location was close to the beach. It was a short walk.
The breakfast was a real disappointment. I had to ask for more butter. The orange juice seemed like the cheapest kind available. The room needed some updates. The paint looked like it had not been touched in decades.

the location is very convenient near preston sands. breakfast included plenty of options to choose from. the host addressed us by name each time he saw us. our room was cleaned to a great standard every day of our stay.
the mattress was a foam one and a little too soft.

the host was polite and accommodating to my requests. staff ensured our rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. the owners were knowledgeable about the area and gave recommendations.

i recommend the full devon breakfast and there are other options. the breakfast room is perfect and very spacious. breakfast choices are varied and the food is delicious. hosts will accommodate special requests if possible.

Excellent Stay with Great Hosts

I found the room quite nice and comfortable. The room contained everything I needed. Breakfast included a good selection and was well prepared. Claire and Ged are wonderful hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the area.
The guest house was quite dated and had a musty smell. The paint seemed old. I wish the guest house had some improvements to these issues.

Breakfast had multiple choices. Claire cooked breakfast superbly. The breakfast selection included a full English, omelettes, and pancakes with tea and coffee.

Free parking is available on the forecourt. That was ideal. There is a book swap available, a nice touch. The room had a massive television and excellent shower with shampoo and shower gel.

The location is wonderful. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk. The area is quiet at night. This meant no disturbances. Several amenities are nearby like pubs and restaurants. I could walk to them.
