The room seemed a bit unclean. It clearly hadn't been dusted recently, dust was evident. I stayed two nights. the bins remained unemptied. Even though towels were placed on the floor, they were not replaced. Getting a larger table than a bistro one for the £22 meal seemed impossible.

i found the staff very helpful and friendly. they accommodated a change to my room specification to suit my needs. the housekeeping staff were also cheerful and offered help with luggage (much appreciated!). the atmosphere felt very cozy and comfortable.
i booked a celebration lunch weeks ago and emailed about the special occasion. i was a bit disappointed that it wasn't acknowledged .

OUR room was lovely and COSY with complimentary drinks! I could eat outside in the garden. I found the staff very friendly.
I booked for a celebration lunch weeks ago and also emailed later about the special occasion. Parking is a NIGHTMARE! The hotel car park was full as was the car park, street parking is only 1 hour.

the bed was very comfortable the bathroom had a superb shower plus a roll top bath. i had complimentary spirits and excellent high quality coffee plus tea bags in the room. dinner and breakfast were delicious with an excellent selection.
the room was a bit small and compact there was no chair.

the breakfast was delicious!!! i loved the free drinks in my bedroom, such a nice touch. a very comfortable residents-only lounge with even more complimentary drinks was available. that was a huge bonus for me, and the staff was great!
my room was nice, but you couldn't open the windows easily, i needed books. the room overlooked the courtyard and there was noise, i accepted it. they had live music right beneath my windows for about 2 hours!
