i liked the beautiful room. a balcony faced the sea, so i could see birds. the bathroom sink had extra counter space. the shower stall did not slip and included a blade-broom.

Solid Stay Near Puffins

Our Sea View Double Room included nice views of the sea and birdlife. Furnishings included a bathroom sink with extended counter space. The shower stall included non slip floors and a blade-broom. Breakfast was good with locally made breads, jams, and tuna salad.
Pool pictures were misleading. Access to the pool cost extra, I think. The cost to use it was higher than the cost of the actual room.

The hotel features a spa. It includes hot tubs, but I did not get to use them. There is also a restaurant that had prime lamb and buttered cod on the menu.

The hotel is situated close to Hafnarholmi bird colony, approximately 3.5km away. Puffin colony, allow people to view puffins from a close distance. I spotted birds, sometimes as close as two feet.

The hotel provided a buffet breakfast. I thought the hotel personnel were kind. The hotel personnel answered my questions regarding the room service in a timely manner.
