lovely stay near southampton water!

The hotel location near southampton water was amazing. It provided a very peaceful atmosphere. our room featured a balcony with a water view. I really liked watching ships and boats. the morning staff were very helpful and polite . the hotel food was excellent also.
the public areas like hallways did look a little shabby! i think they could really use a refresh

The breakfast offered included a continental selection and i enjoyed it. It had adequate choices. the restaurant meals took a little while, but i thought they were nice. the food tasted great.

the room had necessary toiletries, a hairdryer, and an iron with an ironing board, all very convenient. the beds were comfortable, i slept well. it was also very clean which is a plus.

The location was amazing!!! free parking was a bonus. the room was large and very modern. It had lots of tea, coffee, and bottled water, a nice touch.
The superior room i booked was not superior at all. it was a large room, yes, but it looked tired with peeling paint and dust. the bathroom was not good. The sink was disgusting and there was mold around the shower area since the shower tray was not deep enough, water overflowed onto the bathroom floor. i noticed water was coming from both ends of the shower head, soaking the walls.

the continental breakfast was underwhelming cereal was provided but lacked variety. cooked breakfast required an additional charge which i found excessive. the shower had significant limescale build-up it detracted from the experience.

I loved the ample parking available near the location. The room included a fridge, a separate seating area. a huge shower and deep bath! The staff prepared excellent cocktails at the bar. They really knew how to impress. The hotel provides good opening windows too.
I would have appreciated a wider selection.

The hotel features a superb location within walking distance to the lovely village. The ferry trip to Southampton shops is short. The hotel faces sunrise across the Solent. I loved it!

the location was good for watching cruise ships. the staff were helpful and friendly. the food was delicious and the room had nice features. the indian meal was great.
the included continental breakfast was poor. there was no fruit on the second day. the orange juice jug was dirty. a minimal amount of pastries was available.
