a balanced stay downtown
central location spacious room clinical corridor broken furniture
the location was central. the position next to a canal was great (i enjoyed seeing the boats). the room was spacious. the view was picture postcard perfect.
the decor felt old. the hotel seemed unsure of its style. the corridors and public areas felt out of character. they seemed clinical. our room had broken furniture and tacky white paint.

canal VIEW delight!
iconic location easy walk free view
The hotel location is ABSOLUTELY ICONIC! it's right in the centre. i had such a super room facing a canal. The boats with tourists passed, but i could WATCH FOR FREE!
the wall-to-wall carpet IS a bit dirty, and i felt gross stepping with my bare feet.

all staff spoke english VERY well. the reception stuff helped me with bag storage upon arrival before check-in at 3pm. bag drop was also convenient when i checked out.

breakfast IS very nice. i find a great choice of foods every morning. the bar in the basement had a good atmosphere too. the selection of drinks was decent.

the river view room IS the way to go. it had comfortable LARGE beds, so i slept WELL. it featured a high ceiling and beautiful bathroom i reminded me of a princess.

the location couldn't have BEEN better. the hotel location in the centre of Brugge is in a iconic zone near the market square. MANY sights from the movie 'in Bruges' are near the hotel too.

there IS a new basement bar! it has a lovely ambiance that i enjoyed after dinner. the hotel also had an elevator which was nice. the breakfast was perfect.

central location canal view wonderful view clean blanket
i really liked the hotel's location right in the centre. i enjoyed a beautiful canal view from my window. the hotel is near a terrace where i had a nice beer after all my walking. the breakfast room offered a wonderful view as well.
The blanket was not cleaned properly. This was a minor inconvenience.

the hotel bar offers a great selection of drinks, with excellent service. a terrace overlooks the river, giving you a perfect place to unwind. the bar staff offer helpful local recommendations with a smile.

canal view and perfect location
spacious room smooth check-in
we booked a budget room river view. the room was spacious with large ceilings. tall windows open to let in fresh air. we could drink coffee on the window ledge in the morning. the location is close to landmarks. i used the discounts they gave me for nearby attractions. check-in and check-out was smooth. the hotel stored our bags after checkout. this allowed us to explore before our train left.
the blanket was not clean. i found the room uncomfortable. it reminded me of a hospital room. the room needs redecoration.

The location near the main attractions was convenient. The breakfast included a good coffee machine. Outdoor terraces were available . The room was super clean.
