the room decor was lovely and detailed. the staff were helpful and cute (i especially appreciated their quick responses). the pub's food was good, with enough variety. the location near alton towers made it a convenient stopover.
the room lacked a hairdryer, and finding a free parking space on the narrow road was a bit difficult.

The location worked well enough.
The room was quite dusty. I could see it on most surfaces. The bed was also too small for two people and very squeaky. This made for a very restless night.

We had a very large family room in beautiful condition. It was very clean. The restaurant across the road served great food and drinks at reasonable prices.
The room got quite cold when we arrived. There was nowhere to hang anything, not even a towel. We also noted lamps without bulbs in them.
