the room was clean and tidy. the staff were excellent and very helpful.
The bathroom fan was very loud. It was not working so steam made it hard to get ready. there was just one small mirror in the bathroom with no others elsewhere. towels felt wet because of this.

i found the staff friendly and efficient. the food in the evening and the following morning was delicious. my room was a good size and comfortable. the location worked well for breaking up my journey.
the bathroom seemed a little old with some rusty fittings. this gave the impression it was not as clean as it could be. the room decor also was a little dated.

i appreciated the cute and friendly staff upon arrival. they efficiently prepared the room and a dinner table for me. i also benefited from the wednesday steak night special.
the bathroom fixtures looked slightly aged, with some minor rust.

clean pubexcellent serviceholiday cottages
the pub was clean, and fresh. food and service was excellent. THANK you, best steak I've had. they also have holiday cottages, i've stayed in before now. the steak was delicious.
the bathroom is very OLD. it had rusty fittings, and a worn bath, toilet and sink.
