Really good stay in renovated surroundings!

The setting was fine with beautiful gardens. The pool was a welcome facility after a long day of travel. My husband especially loved the swimming pool. Our room had doors leading out to the garden and lovely fluffy pillows.

The numbering system did not seem logical, room 39 was next to room 21. I had difficulty finding my way around at first.

The hotel has a nice swimming pool. There is also a lawn tennis court, and you can ask the front desk for a racquet and balls. The pool area has good seating.

I found the hot breakfasts good. There was a nice choice of evening meals. I ate there three nights, and all food was cooked well and hot, which I appreciated after a day exploring.

The room had everything i needed.

The bed was SO hard and the pillows too. I did not sleep well either night. The breakfast was underwhelming. There were no pastries, just cheap cereal and yogurt. I was REALLY disappointed.

My stay wasn't great. My room faced the road, so I heard traffic all night. The bathroom had mold near the shower, really off putting. The restaurant service was seriously slow. I waited over forty minutes for a simple burger. The staff seemed under trained, they didn't know the menu items, and getting a drink refill was almost impossible.
