I appreciated the spaciousness of the room. The shower was powerful.. I needed that after a long day. The complimentary tea and coffee selection was extensive. ALL staff members were helpful and friendly, especially Sophie at reception. The location is very convenient for shops and transport links.
The bar music vibrated through the room until late at night.

i enjoyed my stay. the staff was very friendly and efficient (especially during breakfast). my room was quite clean and had good facilities.
the traffic noise was constant and disturbed my rest. delivery vehicles arrived quite early, slightly bothersome.

the hotel is near the distillery and bus station. this made visiting the island easy (without having to worry about transportation). the views from the hotel are fine.

The breakfast had excellent options and the service was attentive. i really enjoyed the extraordinary whisky on offer. i recommend asking for the whisky bible. It is informative.

The breakfast included many options. The easy parking was convenient. I appreciated the great views OVER the bay (it was lovely to wake up to).
The heating in both the room and dining room provided a low output of heat so it felt COLD.

the dining room had a fabulous view, though breakfast was quite acceptable.
The room i booked was a double, yet there was very little space to put anything. Only small drawers were available in the bedside cabinets. there was nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries, and the half sink was almost useless. the shower leaked. It seemed like very poor value.

Breakfast was fab. There was plenty of choice. the location is handy for nearby shops and bus links to explore the island without a car!!!

the bed was really comfy so i slept well.
my room was tiny. the bathroom was small too. the noise from the bar kept me awake till late and access was via a tricky spiral staircase, which wasnt ideal.
