a castle dream

13th centuryrestaurant patiomodern convenience

the ponte levatoio room felt special. it was like living in the 13th century with modern conveniences. the food and view from the restaurant patio felt perfect.

the refrigerator system seemed unique for the hotel and the weather was warm. there was no air conditioner, only heater, so the room felt very hot.

this place felt magical. gardens were superb! the staff was really helpful and even prepared a special dessert when we asked. the caffe latte i had for breakfast was the best i had in italy.

the pillows weren't the best.

The rooms were particularly special and had all modern conveniences. My classic double room included robes and slippers. air conditioning worked very well. It kept the temperature perfect despite warmer weather outside. i had a superb view of the valley right from my window!

i had the worst room at the hotel and for what we paid, i am not very happy. the room was really not comfortable.
