location is good, but sleep quality suffered
constant buzzingunresolved issue
i stayed for a few nights and unfortunately, the noise really impacted my stay. i was on the fourth floor, and it sounded like someone above had a jacuzzi they used at all hours, even very late at night and early in the morning. this buzzing sound made it nearly impossible to sleep well. i complained to the front desk one evening, but the issue was never resolved, it was frustrating.

The staff was helpful, kind, and informative! the hotel's location is within easy walking distance of both the port and la rambla. i found a beautiful terrace area perfect for having drinks and also enjoyed a dip in the pool. i wish i could have stayed longer. It was a find!
I noticed significant noise from the plumbing system at night. It constantly ran early in the morning, seriously affecting my rest. the compensation offered of free breakfast held little value, as it did not address ensuring a good night's rest. i also noticed bugs in the bathroom!

i found the staff helpful they went the extra mile to ensure my stay was smooth i arrived hours before check-in and they securely stored my luggage allowing me to explore i also enjoyed the clean room and the convenient location near many eateries and shops.
the shower area showed some wear and tear i noticed a need for some minor updates.

adequate stay, some issues noted
little lightplumbing noise
the room i had faced the interior of the building. there was very little natural light. it felt a bit like being in a box, which i did not appreciate. the noise from the plumbing system was quite loud. it disturbed my sleep each night. the promised compensation of free breakfast was not a suitable resolution.

The staff were helpful with directions. The gothic quarter is complicated. I appreciated the early check-in since i was jet lagged. Bathrooms have good size. They offer enough space around the sinks.
The bed frame has electronics built into it. It was clicking during the night even with lights off.
