empty mini fridge no bar
the architecture of the chateau was definitely something to behold it had a grand feel.
the mini fridge in my room was empty no drinks were available beyond the complimentary water i was also disappointed there wasn't a bar or room service available this was not what i expect when traveling after a long drive a small bar would have helped.

wonderful staff comfy bed delicious wine limited facilities no bar no room service
The staff were wonderful. the bedroom was beautiful, it had a very comfy bed! breakfast was relaxing. there was plenty to choose from. the evening meal was fabulous. The quality of the cooked food and the wine, especially their own wine, were delicious.
on arrival i was shown to my room and given a tour of the facilities. these facilities are pretty limited. i arrived at approximately 5.00 pm after 8 hours driving to be told there is no bar or room service. so there were no drinks at all except for the complimentary water and small bottle of red wine in the room!

lovely stay
tranquil location friendly staff fantastic park beautiful chateau
The chateau visit was much appreciated by me. the staff was friendly, and i felt their service was great. i especially liked the tranquil location, it gave me a peaceful retreat. the park was fantastic. I enjoyed a walk there.
the car park was a little small for all the cars that were there.

the hotel has beautiful grounds, and i enjoyed exploring them. there is a horse carriage available for rides around the premises. i found this a wonderful way to see the views.

the concierge and reception staffs were warm and greeted me warmly. they accommodated my needs. i received helpful recommendations for local restaurants. the staff helped me with any questions i had.
