the swimming pool was a treat after a long day. the room was warm and provided a comfortable space. breakfast offered fluffy and creamy scrambled eggs, exactly as they looked, an unexpected delight.
The chair in the room showed wear and tear. It had definitely seen better days.

the hotel had beautiful gardens i enjoyed walking around. the bar was inviting. the room was spacious and clean. there was plenty of parking available.
I stayed on the first floor and could hear every footstep above me. This kept me awake most of the night.

the room met my basic needs (i wasn't expecting much).
the lighting was terrible. the noise from the nearby road was constant and really disrupted sleep. also, the promised wifi was spotty at best and virtually unusable in my room.
