superb seaside stay

harbour access super clean room delicious breakfast
the location provided easy access to the harbour and nearby attractions. i appreciated the spotlessly clean room with provided amenities. i found the breakfasts to be a standout, particularly the smoked haddock and the fresh fruit salad. i felt very welcome, the hosts were particularly accommodating.
the stairs to the top floor room were a bit challenging, especially after a long day.
Rooms

Really good Stay!

excellent lounge quality breakfast warm welcome
The honesty bar had reasonable prices. The staff were fantastic and provided a warm welcome. I enjoyed the quality breakfast and the excellent lounge space!
My room was a bit smaller than I expected.

The position is good, close to the harbor area. A pub is located just 100 yards away, offering convenient access to local establishments, and the harbor is only a short five-minute walk.

small room accusatory staff
Our room was smaller than I had anticipated. I felt quite uncomfortable when I was accused of leaving a window open allowing rain to enter the room. I didn't open the window and I think a staff member did. The accusation occurred in front of other guests too, it was humiliating and rude.

Adequate Stay with Some Issues

fantastic view town center attentive host small room open window public accusation
The breakfast room has a fantastic view. The hosts were attentive to our needs (they gave good advice). The guest house location is close to the town center.
The room seemed smaller when compared to the photos. I didn't like being accused of leaving a window open that allowed rain inside. That really felt humiliating in front of other people.

a lovely experience!

clean room comfortable room street parking great breakfast
i had a wonderful mini break. the room was a good size, very clean, and super comfortable. there was plenty of on-street parking near the accommodation, a real bonus! breakfast offered a great choice and everything was freshly cooked, what more could i ask for?
the room was perhaps a touch smaller than the photos suggested, but honestly, it wasn't a big deal at all. everything else was so fantastic it hardly mattered!
Dining

inadequate room disruptive noise
the breakfast was acceptable , with a reasonable selection of items.
The room size was inadequate . It did not match the expectations set by the photographs. i found the absence of an elevator problematic , especially when carrying luggage to an upper floor. furthermore , the noise level from nearby establishments was disruptive , particularly during evening hours. this impacted my ability to rest properly.
