I easily swapped to a lower floor room because i had surgery. the team there was happy to move my things so i didnt have to. i thought it was a nice hotel and would consider going back.
the bar staff acted as if serving me drinks late wasn't ideal.

The location was fantastic. An easy walk to the beach. the room was very clean and well kept. i liked the available tea and bath products, replenished daily.
Parking was a little limited. I didn't see this mentioned when i booked.

the staff were friendly. breakfast included a full english option, and it tasted good. the hotel also has an excellent sea front location. it was easy to access everything from there.
parking was difficult. i arrived at 2 pm, but there were no spots available even though check-in was at 3 pm. i had to walk for 30 minutes to find street parking. the room was two flights of stairs up, with some extra steps in between.

I found the recent modernisation very tasteful. I had a large sea view room located on the first floor. It featured a giant bed and a walk-in shower big enough for two. The breakfast in the light modernised restaurant was good. Free on-site parking was available, and additional council parking was located in front.
The staircase to the upstairs bedroom is very steep. It takes some negotiating to keep your footing, as the steps are very narrow from the halfway point downwards.
