mixed experience, some positives, some negatives
expensive drinks confusing menu
the evening meal in the restaurant was quite good.
Drinks were expensive. i also found the menu somewhat confusing. staff could not fully explain the dessert options. This proved frustrating.

friendly staff varied menu
The staff was friendly and helpful. They ensured my stay was comfortable. My room was clean and decorated to a high specification. The breakfast menu offered a good variety, and everything was cooked perfectly. The Sunday lunch was also excellent.

The Sunday lunch was a highlight. It provided a good experience. I noted that starters and puddings, including the cheeseboard, were also excellent. The dining room itself was comfortable, a very positive aspect.

efficient staff beautiful decoration limited menu age restriction
the staff demonstrated efficiency. the bedroom featured beautiful decoration and comfort.. however, space was somewhat limited around the bed.
the menu was limited. i asked for fish and chips from the children's menu, but i could not have this item as it was for age 12 and under.
