Charming Stay!!!

The room was cozy and well-lit with many windows overlooking the street and the outdoor eating area. I liked the stonework. The Falkland Castle was right across the street from my room, very convenient. I loved touring the area!!!
The hotel is unmanned overnight, with instructions about what to do if there is a problem. I think there should always be someone available on-site.

great locationceiling markmalfunctioning heating
the location was great for visiting nearby attractions.
the room i was given was quite disappointing. there was a noticeable mark on the ceiling, suggesting a leak, and the heating malfunctioned during the night. this made the room uncomfortably cold, especially given the stone walls.

the room was very cozy. it had stonework i found appealing. the windows overlooking the street and outdoor eating area provided lots of light. the included breakfast was amazing!!!
the hotel was a little noisy at night. i found the music travelled upstairs from the local pub. the basement restaurant had an unpleasant smell. i hope this was just a one-time thing.
