Our retreat suite was really good. it was even better than the website photos showed. the room was also very quiet and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. the outside hot tub was maintained every morning for us. we could easily access the spa and pool in the provided robes.
The bar area had a limited menu. Options were pizza and pasta only. if i had wanted a broader choice, i would need to drive quite a distance. There are not many alternative options on the island. i would appreciate having other options at the hotel.

i appreciated the convenient parking area near the hotel entrance. breakfast and dinner menus offered a great choice of food. our retreat suite was quiet and comfortable with everything needed for a relaxing stay.
during my stay, i noticed that our room was quite a distance from the reception area. it required navigating multiple sets of stairs which was challenging with luggage. a closer room would have been more suitable.

lovely isle of mull stay!

the lounge area was superb and very popular. bar food tasted great and the tea tray in my room was generous, even topped up daily! furnishings were pretty both in my room and in public areas. the wood carvings on the lit wooded trail to the shore was a surprise, perfect for an evening stroll.
the pool gets used by the public, it could be slightly annoying.

i noticed the breakfast service was very efficient and the staff were accommodating. there were always plenty of options on the menu. i enjoyed a full scottish breakfast with fresh fruit and pastries to start each day, everything tasted amazing!

I found thoughtful touches throughout my room. Highland water and snacks were restocked daily. The Highland Soap Company toiletries added a luxurious feel to my stay. The location was a real sanctuary after long days of exploring.
The hotel charged a high price for a bottle of wine. I was surprised to see a retail price tag significantly lower than what was charged. I think improvements should be made to the pricing policy.

The room was a beautiful double or twin with a sea view. It was spacious, very nice and neat (I could see sunrises over the water!). Amenities included tea, coffee, caramel logs, teacakes, and pretzels.

poor soundproofinglimited capacity
the rooms are not soundproofed. noise from other rooms were intrusive. i could hear conversations clearly. the steam room had limited capacity. it could only accommodate two people at a time so i waited a long time.
