late check-incopious breakfast
I received a late check-in, not typical for a b&b. the room was comfortable with snacks. i was offered a copious breakfast that featured numerous choices. debbie was friendly and chatty. It seemed like staying with friends.

the hotel is close to a bus stop, providing easy access to folkestone. this accessibility made local travel convenient and efficient. i easily reached different destinations using public transportation, with buses leaving every 30 minutes.

the breakfast included fresh fruit, yogurts, porridge, and a full english option. the breakfast offerings were amazing!!! there was also a fridge in the room filled with goodies like crisps, kit kats, water, and instant porridge.

Really good Hospitality and Comfort

The room was clean, and it provided convenient access to the beautiful garden. Debbie, the host, kindly allowed me to use the garage for my motorbike which i found very helpful. The breakfast was a feast, with fresh fruit, nuts, and a proper full english breakfast. It set me up for the day ahead.
the outdoor area could use a little tlc, but overall the experience was great

The hotel is situated close to local amenities! I found a great pub just around the corner, and the area felt safe to walk around, even at night. That was a relief.

The breakfast included delicious sausages from the butcher, and I also enjoyed free range eggs from Debbie's garden! There was also wonderful fruit salad and home made cake, it was all super fresh and tasty.

The host provided many complimentary extras in the room. These extras were a nice touch.
I was disappointed to find the room's decor quite outdated. The general condition felt worn, and lacked style. I also saw some unpatched holes in the tiles in the bathroom.

the exterior area lacked some maintenance, it could have benefited from some tidying.

the breakfast is always fantastic! debbie is a lovely person. my wife talked to her about birds throughout the breakfast. it is a very convenient location cause of its close proximity to the shuttle or ferry terminal.
the bath wasn't very modern.

the room was a good size. it had nice bedding and good pillows. the tv was large enough, convenient. i also appreciated fresh milk and treats in the fridge, like kit kats.
the breakfast area was in the kitchen and laundry room. there were piles of dirty laundry nearby. clean laundry was stacked near paint buckets in the hall. the outdoor area seemed a bit untidy.
