lodge Stay, Excellent Golf and Food
golf trip great condition clubhouse setting
I booked a lads golf trip. we played 36 holes and the course was challenging. the greens were in great condition. my evening meal included braised steak with horseradish mash. It was sublime!
The beds were uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. there wasn't even a box for the room keys for early departures. There was only a plastic tub outside reception.

the twin room included a private bathroom. each bedroom was very clean and tidy. the lodge included three twin rooms and sofa beds.

sound issues and breakfast issues
poor insulation charred mushrooms
The sound insulation was poor. i heard every word from the next room. Their tv show was clear. the mira shower sounded like an industrial generator. breakfast had problems. Fried eggs were rubbery, mushrooms were charred, and the deep-fried toast tasted bad.

easy check-in tasty food close proximity poor sound insulation loud shower missing safe
The check-in process was straightforward. The bar was good I could relax there. The food was tasty and I enjoyed the proximity of everything there.
The sound insulation in the rooms was quite poor I could clearly hear conversations next door. The shower was loud that it could be disturbing for other guests. There was no safe or fridge available in the room.
