The guestlodge offers newly renovated suites such as the Eagles Nest, which provides near 360-degree views of the San Juan mountains. The Bear Cave is a queen suite with a private entrance and ample space, while the cabin is a conversion of a 1930s structure into a rustic yet livable space. Some rooms include a private balcony with mountain views, and others feature a private entrance, dining area, and fireplace.

Dining & Culinary Experience

Dinners require advance reservation and feature a three-course German menu, such as cream of fresh tomato soup, rostbraten with house-made spätzle, and vanilla ice cream with raspberry puree. Breakfast includes a cold smorgasbord then a hot cooked dish, using eggs from the ranch's hens. Ingredients for the dinners are sourced from a neighboring cattle ranch, and the meals are prepared by the hosts.

The guestlodge offers access to one of the most spectacular golf courses nearby, as well as on-site hiking trails that guests can explore accompanied by the resident dogs Sammy and Shadow. Inside, a private guest lounge provides a pool table and dartboard for recreation, while the spacious deck and sun terrace offer seating for relaxation and sunset views. Outside, guests can arrange white water rafting trips, and the property has activities for both advanced climbers and beginners.

Property & Viewing Areas

The working horse ranch includes horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, and sheep, and guests can interact with the animals and stroll the property's network of trails. Hummingbirds feed at deck feeders, providing close-up viewing, and the night sky offers stargazing far from town lights. The picnic area and outdoor furniture allow guests to dine outdoors, and the property has a garden with mountain views.

The property is 29 km from Montrose Regional Airport, and guests can easily access the Million Dollar Highway and other scenic routes.
