charmed by lakeside luxury
fine suite attentive staff beautiful grounds early safari
The suite i had booked was fine. It was a huge tent with great facilities. the staff were attentive, accommodating, and helpful. they arranged packed lunches for our early safari departure and checked in to ensure we were enjoying our stay. the hotel grounds are really beautiful. They are right by the lake with lots of local birds. yala is relatively quick to get to for safari.
The lighting inside the tent was inadequate. More light would greatly improve the experience, though the paths outside were properly illuminated.

the hotel features a lakeside setting, ideal for bird watching, though the access to the main road is very easy. bird watching nature trails are available to see local wildlife. there are common areas for relaxation near the lake.

The honeymoon suite includes a king size bed and air conditioning. Plus a tented structure providing a unique experience. a complimentary cocktail is available upon arrival. Though bringing bug repellent is recommended. bathrooms include modern fixtures.

The staff arranged packed lunches before a 5:30 am safari departure. This showed attentiveness. team members checked on guests to ensure satisfaction with their stay. Plus they were quick to fulfill any request. safari arrangements are easily made.

Delicious sri lankan curry is on offer, the best i tasted. chefs prepared top class meals, and the outdoor restaurant offered a comfortable dining atmosphere. cocktails by the campfire are a must. Though be aware of insects.

what a find!
friendly staff unique experience
this place amazed me with its fine set. i thought the tents was beautiful and such a unique experience in sri lanka. the staff was so friendly and cute, they go above and beyond for us.
i did found a minor issue with lighting inside the tent. it would be better if they improve it so it will be brighter inside. it make it slightly inconvenient at night.

the setting by the lake is lovely, it provides a peaceful atmosphere. you can easily immerse yourself in nature. it's perfect for those looking to unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings.

the pool was a decent size and clean. there are lounging area and huge parasols near the pool. i love the bonfire with drinks at sunset. it was a beautiful surprise.

david, the manager, really impressed me with his hospitality. every staff member are so warm and friendly. they made sure everyones was comfortable and well looked after. i felt very special.
