calm stay amidst vineyards
fine setting a la carte breakfast helpful staff lovely walks
The setting is indeed fine. Vineyards surround the hotel. breakfast offered an a la carte menu. the staff were very helpful during check-in. i found the south downs way provided lovely walks nearby.

Really good Stay amidst Vineyards
beautiful furnishings professional staff excellent breakfast scenic backdrop
The building features beautiful furnishings. I found the staff very professional and helpful . Breakfast was excellent , and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere with great views. The vineyard location created a scenic backdrop.
The room lacked a television.

adequate stay at the estate
scenic location good drawing room small bathroom non-functional extractor
the location offers tranquil surroundings in the middle of the vineyard. the drawing room provided a good space to have pre-dinner drinks it had nice scenery.
i found the bathroom far too small it had a shower that caused flooding because the floor lacked a lip. the extractor fan wasn't functional leading to steam buildup the shower wall had hairs upon arrival.

the location offers lovely walks around the wine estate. my room was nicely decorated and clean (i liked the fresh linens).
breakfast is only open within a limited time window.
