historic charm and central location
generous spacetraditional featuresinsufficient outlets
the breakfast offered a good variety of choices. the room provided generous space and comfortable furniture. the staff were polite and very ATTENTIVE. I liked that the hotel had both traditional features and modern amenities.
my room lacked sufficient electrical outlets near the bed. i had to charge my devices across the room, INCONVENIENT.

lack of air conditioningsignificant street noise
The lack of air conditioning was a real problem. The room got uncomfortably warm during the day. the noise from the street at night was significant. I could hear cars and trams quite clearly even with the windows closed. This made it difficult to sleep soundly. The experience was not ideal

the dinner at the hotel restaurant was nice. i arrived early at noon and my room was ready. i booked a standard double room and received a suite instead. it included a balcony and a piano.
