Gaikou Lodge, Swellendam

Gaikou Lodge is situated on a 16-hectare private property at the foothills of the Langeberg Mountain. It is within walking distance from central Swellendam's shops, attractions, and restaurants. The expansive estate allows guests to explore picturesque landscapes and nature trails.

The lodge offers 12 units accommodating a total of 24 guests, with options for families, couples, and business travelers. Two Executive Suites provide elevated accommodations for up to four guests. Eight double luxury rooms cater for both leisure and corporate guests.

Guests can enjoy a chlorine-free swimming pool equipped with hydrover oxymatic water treatment, the first in South Africa. A petanque court is available for friendly competition, boasting stunning views of the mountains. The child-friendly river trail allows for pleasant walks and bird watching.

Lunch and dinner can be arranged upon request, with catering available for all dietary requirements. Guests have the opportunity to host outdoor braais in a scenic setting. Various local dining options are available within walking distance from the lodge.
