the staff was cute and helpful.
The room was smaller than expected and lacked storage. There was no wardrobe, only a rail against the wall so i felt cramped. The bathroom was also uncomfortable and too SMALL, I didn't like it. the lack of space really impacted My stay negatively

the staff were really friendly upon arrival. they checked us in quickly and showed me to my room. i found the food quite delicious and it was reasonably priced in the restaurant.
the light switch was behind the headboard. it was difficult to reach when i wanted to turn the light off at night.

The staff was super friendly! They showed us all facilities. The room was clean and had all we needed. The food was delicious and not very expensive in the restaurant, it was fast to get. I am very pleased with everything!

The breakfast room was clean and well organized! Staff quickly removed dirty dishes. The continental breakfast offered great variety with cereals, croissants, toast, and fruit. I also saw a fridge containing fresh milk, fruit juices and yogurts.

The hotel was beautifully decorated! Hanging baskets and window boxes added charm. The hotel has a great location too, so I could visit Kendal very easy. I did enjoy my trip.

The room was spacious, it had a nice powerful shower, it was warm! Our room accepted dogs, we could stay with our pooch. Some squirrel mugs matched the Nutkin room, very thoughtful. I loved it!

I found the hotel quite easy to find with generous parking space. Food portions were large. The standard array of beers was available. The room I stayed in was clean. The bathroom was a nice size. I will bring extra coat hangers next time.
The walls seemed thin. I heard quite a bit of next door conversation, but that is to be expected in a pub with partition walls. It was still a super experience!

i appreciated the location, it offered easy access to the lake district, i found the m6 motorway very accessible too. the continental breakfast had plenty of choices for me to start my day. free parking was available, a great bonus when i arrived. the staff were friendly and helpful.
The walls were thin, i could hear conversations from the next room. It was a bit disruptive at times. it did not impact my overall experience significantly though.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. a great location made it easy to access local attractions. the food in the restaurant was top notch! i especially enjoyed the pizza cooked by the landlady. It was a nice touch.
The room was a bit small. There was no wardrobe, just a rail against the outside wall. it felt a little damp. the bathroom was also quite small, and there weren't any glasses for water in the room.
