a lovely, quite stay

the breakfast space had a log fire. the hostess set up the log fire in the lounge. i sampled a few whiskeys after a long run. it was a perfect end.

the hotel was easy to access off the a9, it was alright.
The self-service bar seemed poorly managed. I noticed some bottles were empty, and prices weren't clearly marked. it felt a bit disorganized! and honestly, that bothered me.

a wonderful self-catering experience

well stocked roomcozy dining areaspacious kitchen
We were a family and really enjoyed our stay. the room provided separate beds for the kids. It was clean and very well stocked. the kitchen included all the cookware i needed, and i used this space without it feeling too crowded. the dining area was spacious and cozy, i especially loved the little table just off the kitchen. it also worked well as a games table for us.
the location is a bit remote, i think.
