loch viewfriendly staff
The room had a great view of the loch. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! Compliments to the chef. The rooms were very clean and spacious.
There was no pen available at check-in to sign the documents.

The location offered beautiful scenery (it was picturesque). The staff members I encountered were lovely. The hotel had open fires.
My room was a bit dusty, I noticed this immediately. The carpet had a musty smell to it. The main stairway creaked loudly with every step (it was a bit unnerving).

The bathroom was big and beautiful. The bed felt massive, so comfortable. The room was nice and warm. It was also quiet, a detail I appreciated. Breakfast became excellent. Dinner tasted very delicious too.
No help with bags was available. We had four flights of stairs to climb.

the hotel has class and distinction. i was greeted politely, and nothing was too much trouble. the room was comfortable and included quality carpets and furnishings.
i found the food was only ok for the burger. the room price was expensive for what i received. there wasn't an elevator, and nobody helped with luggage.

I was so happy with the efficient staff. They maintained a cute feeling throughout my stay. very neat place, (which i very much appreciate!). food was really good. I had an excellent meal in the bar and the service was excellent. my room and bed were very comfortable.
it also needs a thorough clean, as it felt dated and worn, but nothing unbearable!

the hotel is on the shores of the loch and a stone's throw from the viaduct. you can walk directly from the hotel. it is less than a 2 min drive to the viaduct and monument car park if you don't want to walk.

the hotel is a heritage building with a log fire in the main hallway. there are many traditional scottish paintings and antiques. the grounds are lovely and well-kept for walks.

the staff were friendly, helpful, as well as efficient, it. upon request, they can prepare delicious sandwiches, even after the kitchen is closed. the team members are very kind.

the location was good.
the slow service really bothered me. dinner took forever to arrive, even after we had to ask twice for our drinks. plus, the shower wasn't draining properly, so only one of us could use it. the doorknob even fell off! this stay wasn't worth what i paid.
