i was impressed that the hotel occupied a converted abbey. i appreciated the historical significance present throughout the hotel. the terraces presented lovely views and the breakfast options made the most of them. the poolside service was also excellent, i found.
the room value seemed relatively low compared to other hotels i visited. the interior looked a bit dated with slightly tired decor. the housekeeper sometimes missed replacing used items, which required calls.

The hotel staff was amazing. All meals on the hotel were excellent. the location offered a balance between views of the area and access to the town. the hotel is beautiful. Views remain unmatched. it was convenient to local restaurants and the ferry.
the room value seemed relatively low compared to other visited hotels. the interior felt a bit dated with relatively small decor. it wasn't quite the experience one would expect at this very high end.
