the hotel location was a blessing. it allowed me a quick walk to many shops. i received a complimentary granita, a tasty treat, in the lobby each afternoon. the air conditioning offered a refreshing escape from the sicilian heat, a tender relief after a long day.
the street outside was a little loud, and my sleep was slightly disrupted one night.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, promptly answering questions. My room was upgraded on arrival (a very nice surprise!). The breakfast was good with many choices. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great.
The walls seemed thin, so I could hear some noise from other rooms. This made it a bit difficult to fall asleep at times. I think adding soundproofing to the rooms would solve this issue.

The room was a good size and very clean. I found the location to be quite convenient. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of items to choose from (especially the fresh pastries!). Street parking was available, which I appreciated.
The front desk staff member was not cute upon my arrival, which seemed to set a negative tone. I also noticed that the room was rather noisy, hindering my ability to properly rest.
