poor lighting small room
The breakfast was excellent with many options available.
the LIGHT was out in my "Standard Double Room". i reported it, but it was not fixed. the poor lighting made it difficult to read. also, the room was quite small, barely enough space to move around the bed.

An Acceptable Stay
convenient location friendly staff freshly prepared breakfast small room poor pressure mechanical noise
I found the location to be quite convenient. Staff at the bar were friendly, which I appreciated. The breakfast was freshly prepared upon ordering.
Unfortunately, the room was quite small. The water pressure in the shower was poor. I noticed some mechanical noise during the night. It seemed to originate from nearby ventilation equipment.

friendly service great view soft mattress missing bulb
The staff provided friendly and cute service. The food was good during both dinner and breakfast. I especially appreciated having a couple of drinks in the garden. It overlooked the 'Sussex Serengeti' (a great view, indeed!).
The mattress was too soft for my liking. I woke up every couple of hours as a result. There were cobwebs in the eaves, and a bulb was out in the shower. (These details definitely detracted from the experience.)
