the hotel is a short walk from transportation but the area is quiet. restaurants are within walking distance. the morning breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices.
i noticed the lobby is dark but the attached restaurant is bright. the walls needed cleaning or a paint job. i found the staff polite, but a little confused with rate confirmations.

Excellent Stay! Guldsmeden Rocks!

This hotel is a real winner! I totally enjoyed the breakfast, it had super quality bread and coffee. I loved the hotel design. All cosmetics available are a plus. This sauna provided a fantastic, exclusive experience.
The room seemed a little too warm. I had the window wide open but that did not help a lot. It was quite uncomfortable.

room temperatureno recycling
I was pretty annoyed about a few things. the room felt stuffy, and i couldn't adjust the temperature (no individual room thermostats). plus, there wasn't a recycling bin available in the room. It seemed like a missed opportunity for sustainability (i care about this).
