Charming Stay with Sunset Views

The hotel gave me ocean access via a small beach. I also enjoyed the pool. There was plenty of parking. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful (especially during check-in!).
The hotel is aging a bit, including dated furnishings. I also noticed a rusted bathroom door. The carpets could use replacement as well. This affected my overall experience.

The staff was really friendly and helpful! the grounds are super clean. i had a ground floor room. It was really spacious and comfortable.
Our room smelled like dog urine, so we moved, twice. the second room had a very strong smoked bbq smell, sometimes! the beach wasn't as advertised. The tiki bar's drinks were bad and overpriced.

rusted doorloose toilet seat
The room felt quite dated. the bathroom door had rust near the floor. the sliding glass door lock was misaligned, it was a real struggle to secure it properly. the toilet seat was loose. It wobbled every time i sat down. i wish they'd address these maintenance issues.
