not quite the luxury i expected
unavailable taxi stressful situation
The staff really failed me. i asked about getting a taxi to the airport at 4 am multiple times. each time, they assured me it would not be a problem. It really was a problem. when 4 am came, no taxi was available. i ended up having to navigate public transport in the dark and rain, stressful. they could have booked a taxi for me the first time i asked. i am really frustrated about that.

adequate stay
easy access short walk passive-aggressive staff defensive behavior
the location was a standout. i found it easy to access insa dong, jungmu-ro, and jungno 3-ga. gwanghwamun was also within a short walk.
The older gentleman at the reception seemed a bit passive-aggressive. this. he didn't seem very open to helping when i asked questions. Instead, he became defensive.

Excellent Hotel Experience
various options helpful staff clean room
The location allowed easy access to nearby attractions. Breakfast included various options. The hotel staff were very helpful. I appreciated the clean and well-kept rooms. The bed design made getting on and off a little difficult. The hardwood floor felt very comfortable under my feet.
The hotel did not provide enough extra hangers. I would have liked additional storage options.

clean room pleasant stay small details
i stayed in the standard triple room! it was very clean. the room size suited the three of us perfectly. there were many small details .
The walls are very thin. I could hear everything! it was a bit disruptive at times.

The breakfast included good variety. friendly staff accommodated requests well. i appreciated the free washing machine. It was very handy. plus, i tried hanbok outfits at the hotel because of a promotion.
i thought the air felt quite stuffy in my room.
