Happy Gecko Dive Resort offers a full-service dive center with experienced guides who have an extensive knowledge of the local reefs. Dive sites are mostly within a 15-minute boat ride from the resort, allowing for multiple dives in one day. The dive center ensures a maximum ratio of 4 divers per guide to provide personalized experiences.

Bungalow Accommodation

The resort features six spacious wooden bungalows equipped with double beds, storage space, and a private veranda with hammocks. Some bungalows can accommodate extra guests, making them suitable for families or groups. Each bungalow provides stunning sea views and access to a beach area ideal for snorkeling.

Dining Options

The on-site restaurant serves three meals daily included in the stay, featuring chicken, meat, vegetarian options, and fresh tropical fruit. Guests have access to complimentary coffee, tea, and mineral water at a designated dispenser. The restaurant provides ocean views and a breeze, enhancing the dining experience.

Location and Accessibility

Bunaken Island is easily accessible, with direct flights to Manado from Bali and Jakarta. Most dive sites are within a quick 10-minute boat ride, which facilitates swift access to popular diving spots. The resort is nestled on Liang Beach, known for its stunning underwater landscape and coral walls.

The owners, Jerry and Willeke, provide local insights and cater to guest needs while offering a homestay atmosphere. Besides diving, guests can explore traditional villages and other beaches on Bunaken Island. Snorkeling boat tours and dolphin watching excursions can also be arranged through the resort.
