quiet room and great location
quiet room clean facilities comfortable bed fresh milk
the hotel sits right on the market square near a roundabout, but my room was surprisingly quiet. i appreciated the clean facilities and the comfortable beds. a mini fridge stocked with fresh milk and water was a very nice touch. breakfast had many options including fresh fruit and a full yorkshire breakfast.
I did notice the entrance from the car park was inaccessible with the resident key. A single key for both entrances would improve convenience a little.

fantastic stay
quality ingredients filter coffee dietary requirements tasteful decor
the breakfast offered amazing high quality ingredients. i particularly noticed butchers bacon and proper filter coffee. everything tasted well cooked. the host were really nice too cater to dietary requirements. decor felt tasteful throughout the hotel
i elected to pay a little extra for a room only to find the view was a roundabout in the market square

The location is perfect for exploring the dales, with restaurants and pubs just a short walk away. tracey and iain were wonderful hosts. our room provided lovely views and the breakfast area was wonderful. Tracey's full english breakfasts are delicious, especially with her homemade jellies and jams.

i had a comfortable clean room. it also offered amazing views looking over the dales. tracey was a friendly host. she was attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
the key was not available for car park residents.

Really good Stay, A Real Gem

The location proved perfect for exploring the local area. I found many conveniences nearby, like good restaurants and pubs, great. The breakfast was a highlight, a full English breakfast. I especially loved Tracey's delicious homemade jellies and jams. I think this was AMAZING!!!
I found accessing the entrance from the car park slightly inconvenient. The key that I had didn't seem to work for the back access. It would be handy to have one key that fits both front and back.
