Charming Stay in the Countryside

I felt very welcome upon arrival, greeted by a warm fire! I stayed in the beautiful and spacious Gatehouse room. The bed was comfortable. The shower was also quite large, which I appreciated. Our evening meal was delicious, thanks to a wonderful waitress!
The rooms felt dated, and I expected a bit more for the price, but the room was comfy enough.

The food and drink offerings for dinner proved excellent! The inn is well set up for visitors eager to explore the Kielder Water area. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The location is lovely and peaceful.
The double room felt rather small, and the ensuite was tiny with mediocre facilities. It would be great to see some improvements in this area .

the room named redheugh lacked essential amenities like a chair i also noted there was no shelf for luggage and the cold plastic floor was uncomfortable underfoot the lighting outside was inadequate for safe access at night

I loved the friendly vibe and how cute the staff were! the room was clean and super cozy (it reminded me of a home away from home). i enjoyed chatting with locals in the pub, such a great atmosphere! the breakfast choices were excellent. A delicious start to each day.
the shower in the bathroom showed some minor staining, which could use a little attention.
