The staff provided friendly and helpful service throughout my stay. I found the food selection good, reasonably priced, and well presented. The family birthday celebration went smoothly thanks to the team. The team ensured dogs were welcome throughout the place, GREAT.

The stairs and hallways could benefit from a refresh.

an okay stay

extra bedfamily roomtough gammonpoor service

the family room was separate from the main bedroom. we had hot chocolate, teas and coffees with biscuits. an extra bed was brought up for my little one, as she did not want to sleep in the cot.

dinner was disappointing. the gammon i had was tough. no one came near us after our mains were served. we were not asked if we wanted dessert or coffee.

the room was beautifully decorated. it was also toasty warm, which i really appreciated. the mattress was so comfortable. the complimentary tea tray was very well stocked, a nice touch.

there was mold on an old fitting in the shower cubicle. i could also hear noise from the extraction fan on the roof outside our room. it was a bit disturbing.
