The breakfast WAS excellent. I REALLY enjoyed the full English. Staff were very friendly ESPECIALLY Michael. The setting and location are great.
The sound proofing BETWEEN rooms could be improved , but the room was nice. I thought the bathroom could have better facilities , like a toilet brush.

this place reminded me of a warm embrace. our family room was generously sized, easily accommodating us. breakfast was really delicious. the staff were friendly, always ready to help.
The television in our room felt a bit small. It would be nice to have a larger screen for evening relaxation.

The manager is affable and cute, always making time for a chat. the staff is attentive. They ensure all your needs are met. the service is efficient. You feel well cared for.

Average stay with some drawbacks
mildew wardrobeinsufficient water
The room had some issues. I saw mildew in the wardrobe, quite unpleasant. The heating stayed on all day. The staff did not seem to turn it off even when it was warm outside. I also noticed we did not get fresh water every day, a bit of a letdown.

The breakfast offered good choices. I liked the full breakfast with toast. The room was a good size and it had a nice view of fields with sheep. The bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep (I slept like a baby!).

The staff was friendly and helpful . Check-in was quick and efficient. Mike at the bar was especially cute upon my arrival.

the breakfast was acceptable, with a decent selection of items.
The room was very dated. Cracks looked in the walls and ceilings. blinds were dirty, especially in the bathroom. towels even smelled damp. I'm not sure they had dried quickly enough. it really needs an injection of cash.
