lingering smellbilling issue

The room was clean, but i noticed some nuts left by the bed. the hallway smelled like smoke, even though smoking is not allowed. It seemed to seep in from the windows. also, at checkout, they tried to charge me again, even after i prepaid i had to show my bank statement to prove payment, it was odd.

there is always ample parking available directly outside (i appreciate that). the staff are always friendly and helpful should i need anything. i found both dinner and breakfast to be excellent with plenty of choices available.

the hotel isn't close to the city centre, but i already knew that. it's a short drive (about 10 minutes) to the centre. i don't mind as i needed somewhere just off the motorway.
