mixed feelings about the stay
acceptable breakfastroom cancellationbad wifi
the breakfast was acceptable.
It warned me that if i wanted to be in the town or needed wifi , i should have booked elsewhere. less than three weeks before my arrival , my room was cancelled with no explanation. i was told she did not think i was a real person and expected me to not show up.

amazing stay!

i just loved the well signposted approach. the hotel has a single-track road, so it's easy to find. the room was spacious and clean, with an en-suite. i noticed nice extra touches in the room and bathroom. also the sheltered outdoor gardens provide seating.
wifi access was somewhat limited in certain areas of the building, it wasn't a major issue, though.

loose tileshower temperature
I felt a bit let down. the bathroom needed a small repair, i noticed a loose tile. the shower temperature was really hard to adjust. It swung from too cold to too hot which wasn't very relaxing at all. i was hopping for a smooth experience, it wasn't the best. it gave me a start to my morning.

The house features a lovely garden near the town. The breakfast included various choices, and it was delicious. I found the host, Sheila, helpful and friendly. The house sits back from the main road. This ensures peace and quiet, contributing to a relaxing stay.
