a good stay near the port

the hotel sits close to the bus terminal and town center. i found the staff friendly, and the breakfast was good (i really enjoyed the local pastries). we were allowed to leave our bags after check-out while we enjoyed another day at the beach.

the pool bar wasn't open , a bit of a shame, as it would have been nice to relax there with a drink.

the owners are a family. they were helpful and kind. they allowed me to check in very early, which i appreciated after a long journey. i found them approachable at all times.

the location is very convenient to the bus stop, great for traveling all over the island. the family that runs the place is friendly (i especially liked their homemade breakfast items).

the pool bar was consistently closed. i thought it could have been a nice amenity to have available .

the hotel's proximity to the bus stop proved very convenient. i found the walk to the town center quite manageable. complimentary parking was a bonus and a nearby supermarket made stocking up easy. the owners provided genuinely cheerful service and helpful local advice. i especially appreciated their insights.

the pool bar remained closed, a minor disappointment for poolside relaxation.

the room was modern. it was recently refurbished! the staff were friendly, really. they allowed us to stay in our room until 3pm. this meant we could shower after spending the afternoon on the beach.

the bathroom was very small. both towel rails in the bathroom were broken. one of the handles on the wardrobe was broken too. the rooms weren't cleaned daily. they just emptied the bins!

the rooms weren't cleaned daily, they just emptied the bins. sheets were left for us to make the bed ourselves. glasses and mugs were never washed and replaced.
