good sizeold bath matstale coffee
The room was a good size and had a fridge , which was useful.
The bath mat was old and should HAVE been replaced. The coffee granules in the jar were stuck to the side , so they seemed stale. I wasn't offered a cooked breakfast, and I'm not sure if it was supposed to be included.

excellent stay
weary cyclistsclothes pilewarm welcome
the hosts gave weary cyclists a ride to the pub. they also hung up our pile of clothes. the hosts offer a warm welcome.
bath mat old could have been replaced coffee in small jar not fresh granules stuck on side of jar looked as though been there awhile not offered cooked breakfast so not sure if it was supposed to be provided did not feel welcome at breakfast as owner said had enough of bb pleasant people however so bit odd that comment was made when

Really good Service and Great Amenities

I found the hosts to be helpful. They even offered me an early check-in since my room was ready. I appreciated that I could leave my car before check-in to ease my logistics for a day walking. I was also delighted to find a piece of chocolate cake by the kettle. It was a welcome treat after a long walk.
I noticed the coffee granules stuck to the side of the jar. The coffee did not seem fresh.

The rural setting provided a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel had plenty of safe parking available on the premises. It was convenient to explore the surrounding countryside.

The room featured a direct access to the driveway, easy to enter. It had a stable door. The ensuite shower and kitchenette with a sink, drainer, microwave, and full-size fridge were very useful.
