Wonderful Stay Near the Mountains!

The staff helped me find local spots! The check-in process was quick, the team was very accommodating, and the room had everything I needed. The grounds were great. My kids enjoyed running around the hotel without worrying about traffic. I appreciated the convenient parking.
The hotel did not have laundry facilities. This was inconvenient for our longer stay.

The cabin had a rustic feel and was equipped for self-catering. It had everything we needed. The heaters kept our cabin cosy and warm. I found the beds comfortable!

the hotel location proved convenient, situated between hinton and the jasper townsite, i found it easy to explore both areas. i appreciated the functioning wifi in my room, it allowed me to stay connected. i found the receptionist helpful with directions. petrol and groceries needed some planning as i needed to arrange them in the towns nearby.
the road noise from a close main road was persistent, i found it somewhat bothersome. i did miss having laundry services available. there was no pool or hot tub for relaxation. the absence of a breakfast room meant i had to cater for myself.

i noted that my queen studio was clean and spacious. i found all the necessities for a comfortable stay. the provided wi-fi signal was strong and reliable, a welcome feature.

the hotel featured barbecue facilities. these were available for guest use outside, made for a nice evening meal. there was a parking space close to my room. this made loading and unloading luggage simple and quick.

the front desk offered dvd rentals for the evenings. i considered it a relaxing option after a day exploring. the staff were friendly. they were also helpful with local information and directions.

renovated suprise near the highway

i expected an older motel room but was so happy it was nicely renovated. the mini kitchenette was a real bonus. i thought there would be lots of traffic noise since we faced the highway. it was closer than i expected, though i slept well even with the window open.
i wish there was a laundry facility on site. there were no breakfast facilities included for the price i paid. too many penalties were listed for every item such as a missing plate or unremoved garbage!

the hotel has a beautiful hang out building with a fireplace and puzzles. guests can find books and comfy couches there! a giant chessboard is available in the campground and there are at least a couple of playgrounds for children.
